Suprisingly good atmosphere.
This theater is surprisingly clean and friendly. Its major draw back is its cost. At the time of writing this tickets are $10.00 per person, and if you add popcorn and a drink you looking at closer to $22.00 a person. Their other major downside is they don't always get releases in on time. For instance; District 9 released two days late, and Tim Burton's 9 still hasn't shown up yet. (Maybe they don't like 9s?)
But considering there isn't much competition in the area its the best you can get, and if you don't like it, well there's really no alternatives...
Nice theater but too pricey!!. The theater is generally always clean when I go in. The sound and video quallity is good. I feel that maintence is kept up. My only compaint here is the prices are too high. I used to go to this theater often but at $10.00 for evenings and $7.00 for matnee (spelling), I just can't justify the expense anymore. I refuse to buy their refreshments anymore. One positive remark is that matnee ends at 5:30pm which is later than neighboring theaters.
Let's fix the parking problem.
A nice variety of movies but, NO PARKING!!!
You can go blocks and find no parking. Not easy with
or without kids.
An upscale theater in a quaint little town makes for an exceptional experience. I never would have expected such a great theater tucked inside of the middle of downtown Paso Robles right across from the city park. We parked our car near the restaurant we went to and then walked to the little theater a couple blocks away, peeking in the windows and sampling chocolate along the way. The theater actually wasn't as small as you might think and the theater we saw our movie in, had stadium seating even more comfortable than some of the LA theaters I have been in. The lines moved quickly and my feet did not stick to the floors! ( A biggy for ME!) The theaters and lobby were very clean and the popcorn was hot and fresh! Everyone seemed friendly and it was just an over all good experience! On the way back, we had the most wonderful pecan bars at The Oddessey with a cup of hot coffee. I would suggest going in the middle of the week if you want to beat the crowds and not worry about parking but I noticed that they redesigned the parking in front of the theater which seemed to add more parking spaces. But come on, parking downtown on a weekend is not much worse than parking at Walmart on a busy day! It is worth the walk! Whether you make it a date with dinner & a movie or just stroll past all of the new stores and restaurants that have gone in on your way there, remember Park Cinemas the next time you are figuring out what to do!
