The tasting menu was superb. The wine pairing was spot on. Excellent food, good ambience. The service was perfect with the waitress never intruding and making good suggestions. Absolutely decadent desserts. Could not recommend this highly enough.

What a lovely surprise after an interesting visit to the Hurst Castle - the dream house of William Randolph Hurst nearby! Our dining experience in this intimate and very cosy place was absolutely fabulous! The food was imaginative and very well prepared and service was impeccable. I would recommend The Black Cat bistro any time. Among several other good food places in Cambria, we are going back to Black Cat for our farewell meal before leaving for San Francisco tomorrow.
