The flavors of the Baja have a home north of the border with this fast-food fish-taco restaurant..
After years of traveling to Baja California and enjoying fish tacos at beachside stands, Ralph Rubio opened his first restaurant in San Diego in 1983, banking on the south-of-the-border favorite. Today, Rubio's are located throughout the Southwest serving tacos, burritos salads and more. Baja-style fish tacos are the specialty--beer-battered Alaskan Pollack, cabbage and salsa in a soft corn tortilla. Street tacos (carnitas, carne asada, chicken), quesadillas, nachos and taquitos are other popular options.
Great Value. Food was fresh and a great price. Great family ambience. Highly recommended
Excellent Food. Best Mexican food on the central coast. Fresh and full of taste
Excellent. The family is a pleasure. The service is okay. Usually short handed much better if you order at the counter.
