When you stay at a Quality Inn, you don’t expect a 5-star hotel stay so I base my rating on a budget motel standard (eg., Motel 6, Days Inn, etc), you just get what you need in a simple, clean room for a reasonable price. And this location did not disappoint. In fact, I was impressed to find an iron and ironing board and a decent free Internet wifi connection along with all of the standard QI amenities, such as swimming pool (though I’d never swim in it), shampoo, conditioner, soap and nice variety of TV channels. The included breakfast at this location was no different from other Quality Inn locations I’ve been to, but having tried the Days Inn’s minimal (toast only and that’s it!) breakfast, I realized that getting eggs, sausage, and waffles is a real treat.
The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever had in any motel or even 5-star hotel stay, resulting in a great night’s sleep (for that alone, I give it an above average rating). I don’t know how or why it’s so good, but you can tell it’s a good quality, firm mattress. Staff are helpful and friendly and the rates were decent. Although the cost of accommodations for this area is generally not cheap, compared to other motels, this is one of the better options. As many people may complain about the high price, it does give you a small, though distant view of the ocean (if you happen to face that side). Best to book it on the weekdays ti save a lot more.
We had 3 rooms for family reunion. Registering when we arrived was un-eventful. Rooms were exactly as we had requested & expected.
Most of all they vere all very CLEAN (although, they were little crowded with all the things they had in the room). The pillow-top beds with comforters were one of the best I have seen in any hotels. Little noisy in the morning but to be fair it was 10am (obviously missed the breakfast :)). Overall it was a great experience for all 12 of us.
We were a little nervous after reading the reviews. But we ended up pleasantly surprised with the location and also the quality of the room. The room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the flat screen tv was nice and the wifi was a big plus. Our room faced the RV park. The hotel was full that evening and we didn't have any problem with neighborhood noise levels. A minor problem was that we couldn't dead bolt the door. It's definitely one of the better values in Pismo Beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. I thought the breakfast was good with selections of coffee, apple and orange juice, cereals, pastries, toast.
We would come back again and highly recommend it.
We stayed here for one night during our road trip from LA to San Francisco. We had a wonderful stay and staff were very helpful in giving us a quiet room. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. We thorougly enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the surrounding area was very attractive. The breakfast the next day was a reasonable spread with plenty of tables and nice little area to relax before heading off.
This hotel was AWESOME! Very cute, extremely clean, well worth the value. Where else are you going to find clean duvets on the beds for under $100 a night? Seriously.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for 1 night during a roadtrip down highway 1 and were pleasantly surprised with the quality inn, It was one of the cheapest places we stayed during our 3 week holiday but was among the best. Fantastic service from the front desk - i had some problems at home and needed to make contact urgently and they were very helpful- The room was spotless and comfortable and while not "on the beach" it is only a 10 minute walk........
We had 7 rooms for 2 nights. Everybody ib our group had a pleasant stay. Very clean, Good service by the staff, decent breakfast and although small, clean & comfortable rooms with great beds.
We planned to bring our 4 year old granddaughter to Pismo for a couple of days during the Labor Day weekend. The motel where my husband and I have been staying for the past 5 years had a limit of 3 days or none! We didn't want to stay more than 2 days so we were going to cancel our trip. Then we decided we would stay somewhere else. We got a room here and our stay was great! The room was clean and beds were really comfortable. Having a microwave and fridge in the room was very convenient. Our granddaughter along with her grandparents enjoyed the clean pool and spa. We would definitely stay here again.
I want to give a huge thumbs up to the Quality Inn in Pismo Beach, CA. For the second time this year I stayed there and the service they provide was outstanding.
When I passed through there in June, I ran into bike troubles. It wouldn’t start. With the help of some internet motorcycle folks the problem was diagnosed to be a dead battery. Unfortunately the nearest place to get a battery was a few miles away. One of the staff members, stored my gear and drove me to 3 different shops until I could get the right battery for the bike. Despite occupying his time for 1 - 2 hours, he wouldn’t take any money for gas.
Fast forward to this week when I am staying there again. Overnight the coastal fog rolled in and was quite heavy. Stupid me forgot my cover. When I came out to pack up the bike, I discovered an employee had taken a towel and wiped down my bike and left a towel on the seat so it stayed dry.
In many years of staying in hotels, I have never run into one as customer and bike friendly as this one. If you are passing through Pismo Beach and have to stop for the night, I can’t recommend the Quality Inn highly enough.
Stayed here for one night whilst travelling down the coast to Los Angeles. Booked ahead and got a good deal. Easy check in, clean, spacious room with fridge and microwave. We made use of the pool and Jacuzzi area which were fantastic! Breakfast was served near the reception area which was lovely! Sausage, Egg, Cakes, bread, fruit, cereal, juices tea and coffee were all available and there was plenty of it!
