great selection, good location. i love this bookstore. they have a great selection and offer what few bookstores do: order online, pickup at the store. they are also located right in the heart of downtown san luis obispo. there is smoothie shop next door so you can enjoy your new book with a cold smoothie and for the coffee drinkers there is a starbucks located right there inside the bookstore with a greater selection of snacks than the standalone starbucks across the way.

Locked out of the B & N Bathrooms!. Our local B & N has decided to lock it's customers out of the restrooms on Thursday nights (Farmer's Mkt Night). You will be directed to the Porta-potties ... through the alley on an adjoining street. Is this even legal, considering they have a full service cafe? Please let management know that this is not acceptable.
