The alterations made to a sports jacket I brought in made it tantamount to a custom made jacket. I have had clothes tailored in New York and Los Angeles over the past 50 plus years and have found the work done here to be equal to or better than any tailor I have ever been too. I highly recommend their services.

Red Flag on the play. Mannikins looks to be "stacking the Deck" with more "friends" writing the reviews. I first stumbled on to their site on Google and found the same "stacking". This sort of thing really chafes me so I came looking at other site, ie, this one. Too many positives in too short a time. Cry foul.

While visiting from out of town I ripped my favorite Hudson Jeans. I walked by Mannekins to see if they could repair the jeans that day. The gal was happy to accomodate me and did a terrific job. I can hardly see where the repair was made. I would highly recommend Mannikins.

This business is very clean and organized. The owner seems very knowledgeable with both style and fit. She was friendly and I was very satisfied with the work. I have been there several times and will continue to use them in the future.

I take vintage leather wartime jackets to mannikins for repairs and she is the only one I will use and trust because they are very rare and expensive. She does a fantastic job and offers excellent personal service which is rare in this day of a non service oriented marketplace. She IS that "quintessential local shop around the corner"

I have been using Mannikins Tailoring for over two decades. She is professional and does quality work. She is honest and will tell you your realistic options rather than candy coat the truth. When my cloths need to be let out or in she is the one I count on and I have yet to be disappointed. Hard worker - Yes! Available when needed - Check! Reasonable price - Affirmative! Good location – right down town! Knows the score of the football game – Not always, but sometimes! Never the less, I recommend her to anyone!

Mannikins does a fantastic job altering, repairing, and restructuring. I trust her with my vintage clothing because she honestly gives me options or tells me if the end result won't turn out well. Whenever she had a different opinion than mine about the alteration, and after explaining why it wouldn't work, it turned out her ideas were much better. I would always learn something new in the process and it always looked beautiful in the end. She is also very good at the simplest of things like hemming pants or skirts. I have no complaints about this place and would highly recommend them to everyone.

I brought my first alteration to Mannikins after my usual tailor was reluctant to alter an evening gown for me due to its complicated construction. i.e. it would cost too much, take too long, and exceed the value of the dress. I went to Mannikins and Catherine (the owner) told me she could make it work, and she also made some additional suggestions which I had not considered. She did a beautiful job, and her price was very fair, especially considering my unreasonable request (in my opinion) to have it finished in a few days. Since then I have brought all of my alterations to her and have never been disappointed with the quality, cost, or time.
