Phoenix Books clearly has a different definition of gender studies--all the books are about women; no books on men or masculinitites.

Best Used Bookstore in SLO. I've been browsing, shopping and trading used books to Phoenix Books for 5 years. They have a huge selection which is well organized. Great atmosphere and customer service. I try to visit every time I go downtown.

Well-stocked, good prices, unique assortment. There is a great selection of pretty much any topic you can imagine here. The store is big and packed full of books, and there is always someone willing to help you find what you're looking for. Good location too.
