This is to correct an absurd review. I'm going back to the Peach Tree in 2 days. Spend the extra couple of bucks for a creekside room. Clair is a SAINT! All of the staff are fantastic. The continental breakfast is beond belief. I've been here many times for business and pleasure.

Enjoy!

I would not recommend this Establishment. Recently visited this establishment during the month of January 2010. The rooms were out of date, the furnishings were well worn, and unfortunately lacked in cleanliness. After deciding not to remain as a guest, conversations taking place several days later, with the hotel proprietor were unpleasant and insulting. Although the accommodations may be acceptable with some updates, the customer service issue may remain. I would not recommend this establishment.

Good location. The room was clean and so was the pool. Price a little high but we got a good view and nice bathroom.

Claire Atieh, the manager, WORST Customer Service Ever!. I made a reservation on the hotel's own website. Surprisingly, the price for the night is $1.00. I made the reservation, and got the confirmation letter from email. We call the hotel to make sure the room is reserved since we feel kinda unsafe for such low price. The old lady, Claire Atieh, picked up the phone and claimed herself as the manager. She kept laughing at us saying "$1 for the room, are you kidding." And her attitude was so bad and and her tone was unbearably high-pitch. She even said that it was our fault to book the room for such low price. How the heck would be our fault if the whole transaction was through their own website? She kept laughing and we defintely felt insulted. We told her that we would give bad comments to the hotel, and she said, "I would give you bad comments too. $1 for the room. Are you kidding?". Yeah! "Are you kidding" is what she kept saying, and we already told her that WE ARE NOT KIDDING. I believe Peachtree Inn is a good hotel, but with such person being the manager, it's just keeping their customers away. We give such bad comment is not because they don't honor the deal, it's all because of the insulting attitude of that old lady.

No better place to stay. Great location, clean rooms, fantastic price. What else do you want? You are in SLO, you should be out enjoying the town and not staying at Hearst Castle. This is the best value in SLO!

Quaint Location, walk to downtown and CP. The Peach Tree in a great location for walking to downtown SLO and Cal Poly and best of all, they have a great price. The rooms are not fancy but they are comfortable and clean.

Staying at the Peach Tree Inn is like stepping back in time to an old style motel where there is a central grass area with large wooden swings to relax in and tables to sip a glass a wine after a day of wine tasting in the Central Coast.

A Continental style breakfast is also served daily with fresh fruit and breads. Delicious!
