best mechanics I have ever had. I moved away from SLO but still bring my car to them for scheduled maintenance and repairs that can wait until I make the four hour drive to SLO! They are incredibly honest with me and tell me when a repair is a necessity versus something that needs to be taken care of within the next few thousand miles. I was quoted twice as much from a mechanic in the Bay Area compared to what Landis charged me for the same repairs. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Landis automotive.

Timely and Honest Service. Well...My car was making a making a noise when you made a sharp turn...Took it into a Honda shop in Brea CA. They had it all day and said they could not fix it and to take it to a dealership....Yikes was I sweating...

Came home and took it to Landis...They asked me a couple of questions took it for a test drive. They called me within and 2 hours told me what was wrong with it and told me I could pick it up in an hour.

Got to love that!

Very good independent Shop Highly recommend them. Daughter goes to school in SLO her Honda had slight oil leak from oil change in San Diego. I called and spoke with Cris who was very helpful and got her car in same day. Checked the car over called me to discuss. Honest and helpful. Highly recommend them.

The BEST. This is the absolute best auto repair shop on the central coast. Honest, good workmanship, will stand behind what they do. I will admit, I know close to nothing about my car and I depend on my mechanic to keep my car running. I can trust the guys at Landis to give me the truth about what's going on with my car and charge a fair price for that service. Unlike a certain chain of 3 shops in SLO that charged me $75 to replace a fuse in my old Volvo, I have never felt over charged. Great location too, easy walking to downtown SLO.
