Worth it!. I enjoyed my dinner here, the people were polite and the food was good - what more could I ask for?

Amazing food, great service. I was wary of trying Moroccan food at first, but this is one of my favorite restaurants. I have eaten here four or five times, and have never been disappointed. The food is incredible and the atmosphere is cozy. You;ll feel like you're stepping right into Morocco and out of SLO when you enter the Oasis Restaurant. They have very good vegan/vegetarian options, too!

Great Food and Atmosphere. I went for the first time on Thursday night. It was so lively on the street and in the restaurant. Every Thursday night they close down the street for Farmer's Market and different vendors line the street to sell produce, flowers, food and much more. We stopped at the booth for Oasis and saw all of their vegan wraps.... what a treat! But we decided to go inside for dinner because of the atmosphere. You feel as if you are eatin gunder the stars in a tent. How Cool! Once inside we ordered Hommus. I love hommus...especially if it is homemade. There is not questions that they make this from stratch. The even take the time to soak the garbanzos! Then we had their vegan soup and Couscous Royal Vegan and Lamb Curry. Talk about to die for. The lamb was so tender that is fell off of the bone. The couscous was not dry (I hate it when the couscous is so dry that it is stale) and full of flavor. THe veggies were sauteed to perfection. I look forward to returning and would recommend this restaurant to any one who enjoys flavorful (not spicy) food. For dessert we had a traditional dessert called Selou? It was a little dry but went great with the Moroccan Tea.
