The interior is realy cool with rustic surf deco & boards hanging from the ceiling. We ordered a medium veggie pizza and a salad w/ 1000 island. Good night! They brought this huge salad and a side bowl of dressing. We put the salad between us and ate toward each other. The pizza was the best we've ever had. Not a gooy cheese ball. Very little cheese with tons of veggies and great sauce. The folks working there are super and polite. Just normal locals. My son just had jaw surgery and we're going back over there with the whole family just to eat at Pizza Port as soon as his mouth heals.
A Fun Place For Lunch.
We discovered this place on accident while on our way from Solvang to San Simeon. It's definitely a place where the locals go. There's nothing fancy: wooden benches and tables, walls lined with surfing pictures and memorabilia. There's standard pizza/pasta stuff on the menu. We had a delicious garden salad and "small" calzone. The calzone with two toppings came to around $4.00 and was HUGE!
Again, nothing fancy about the place, but it was fun and a nice break from fast food and fancy restaurants. It was close to the beach and to Morro Rock, but don't expect to see either from the restaurant!
