Best Motel Deal in Paso Robles. My husband and I chose Melody Ranch Motel because of the 2 five star reviews and how they expressed their genuine appreciation. We were in Paso Robles for a wedding and had traveled from Oregon to get there. I must say we were very pleased with the clean room and especially the good bed. It is hard to find a really good bed at a motel unless you pay mega bucks. It is older in style but you won't mind because it is well taken care of. We stayed 2 nights. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. There is a restaurant just a short walk north with good food. Because of all that was going on with the wedding, we didn't get to see much of the area but I can tell you for sure that if we are ever in the area or passing through, we will stay at MRM and spend some time seeing the sights. Give them a try - I don't believe you will be disappointed. DK

Step back into the 50s.. My wife and I stayed three nights at MR and really enjoyed our visit. If you are looking for jacuzzi tubs, fluffy bath robes and breakfast, you should pass on by!! Just a very good staff, clean, comfortable rooms and a full blown shower!! No wimpy water saving dribble showers here!! Janice, our hostess, gave us our AAA discount, but refused my Vons Food club and my Ace Hardware cards with a smile and a negative shake of her head. Good sense of humor and full of info on places to eat ,etc, in Paso Robles. She deserves a raise in pay for putting up with me!! We will come back as often as we can get away!! We only live about two hours away, but enjoy little "get aways" to unwind. MR is close to everything. We enjoyed the wine tasting and taking pictures at Mission San Miguel just up the highway. Good resturants and friendly people here in PR.

Great Value. My wife and I have stayed at the Paso Robles Melody Ranch Motel many times over the years. Centrally located, one block from the park in Paso, it's a clean, well-run, blast to the past. Nothing fancy at all. The owners are very curtious and attentive, even greeting us by name when we drive in. New beds were put in last year and are very comfortable. Of course, the whole motel is non-smoking.

I highly recommend the Melody Ranch Motel. Spend your vacation money on the good food and excellent wines Paso has to offer, not on an expensive hotel.

Melody Ranch. Nice, older, clean, well maintained. We stay here several times a year. It is always clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpfull. A great bargain in the Paso Robles wine country.
