Checking in was a breeze, the front desk staff was pleasant and very knowledgeable about the area which has some of the tastiest restaurants you could ever dream of. Just look out of the window to your right and enjoy the calmness and beauty of the ocean, that let's you know that you will have a relaxing stay.

Excellent staff, clean rooms, pool was hot, best location for the money! You can walk everywhere from here. Got really good restaurant recommendations from the front desk and excellent directions too. a good place, will come back!

My wife and i lived 2 blocks from this hotel for two years. It's just like coming home to the Pismo we left. This location lets you see the sunset, the fog rolling in, you can hear the ocean and smell the air. This hotel IS just what living by the ocean in Pismo Beach is all about.

My wife and I intended to stay in this motel for one night but we stayed for three instead. The motel is an excellent value and situated adjacent to the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with complimentary coffee and muffins every morning. I must pay special mention to the staff who were most helpful and welcoming to us, they were brilliant and part of the reason we stayed on. Pismo Beach is beautiful and we have noted it for our next visit to California.

We have visited Pismo Beach every year for the past 18+ years, the past two years we could not make it, so we were so excited that we were going back this year. We have stayed at the Edgewater for at least 5 of those years. Since we are a family of four, we always stay in a standard suite, this year in room 305 and we usually always stay at least 4-5 nights and 5-6 days. The rooms are clean and well stocked. They provide you with everything needed for a kitchenette, they provide a large refrigerator, microwave and toaster, we save a lot of money by bringing food to prepare, mostly breakfast. The Edgewater's continental breakfast is juice, coffee and muffins. Plenty of closet and drawer space. The bedroom has a television, closet and a door, awesome for my husband and I. Beach access is fantastic, downtown Pismo access is easy, we walked everywhere and saved on gas too. We are always on a budget for vacation and this hotel meets every need we have for a family of four to stay and have a great time! The weather was perfect, end of July, beginning of August is the perfect time to go.
