The price for the room was very good. They have a great bar and restaurant too. The kids had a great time on the beach, just one block away.
We booked early and got a good rate for the location (ocean view room within minutes of Hearst Castle). The room and linens were clean. The tv was nice.
My family loved this place. It's sooo quiet and peaceful. The best place to relax. Not too much amenities so you're stuck in enjoying the view and talking to your family, which I realized it's the best thing to do on vacation.
If you're looking for a decent, inexpensive place to stay at San Simeon, this is the place to be. The room we stayed in was very clean; the staff was friendly; and it's the only place that offers entertainment around the area on weekends.
The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable and the service was great. The menu in the restaurant had many items to choose from and my meal was great. Excellent value! Conveniently located to the Hearst Castle and beaches.
$54.00/night including taxes, a
spacious room, king size bed, all rooms are nonsmoking. Located a stone's throw from the ocean, the room was clean, smelled clean, and was well stocked with soap, shampoo, towels, even a shower cap. The staff was extremely helpful and generous. The free wifi; however, was only so-so. The signal was just strong enough in the lobby, so it wasn't much in my room, but it was free.
This place is great, when I pass through again, I will certainly come back here.
Karaoke with Elvis Saturday nights is
not to be missed. This place is great, it feels like a family-run establishment with different people popping up in different roles all over the place (if they have vacancy, you can get a room from the bartender if you get there late night). And they all sing at karaoke. This is a great place to sing karaoke en espanol too, but I sang Summer Nights with Elvis and it was kind of priceless.
I had a blast and will definitely return for a trip up the hill to Hearst Castle.
Good value for low $. The place was
clean, simple, and inexpensive.
